GCSE Psychology: Obedience and Conformity: does wear affect how civilise students ar? In my study i am come ab by to look at the effect of polar costumes on the allegiance directs of pupils. I got this idea from Bickmans study where he tested how versatile uniforms affected the homage of civilians. He found that nation were to a greater extent potential to obey a mortal in protections uniform than a individual in milkmans uniform. They would be even less likely to obey individual wearying a civilian outfit. This shows that clothing has a puffy effect on people obedience levels. My alternate supposition is that more students depart obey a instructor who is wearing normal clothing than a teacher wearing a preposterous wig. My null hypothesis is that in that location result be no going between how teachable the students are when a teacher is wearing different clothes. I am going to observe two lessons of the same section of year 9 one bequeath be a nor mal lesson and in the other the teacher get out wear a funny hat. My independed variable will be the cloths the teacher is wearing and my restricted variable is the obedience level of the class. My target population will be year 9 and i will exercising opportunity sampling to take a sample population. I am development a repeated measures design because different people would defecate different obedience levels depending on the teacher so the explore would non be accurate.
