Trifles By Susan Glaspell

Men and wo workforce have never been treated equ ally. Although women throughout record have gone through adversities, women literature has flourished into a strong new movement which counterbalances for civil rights. One of the areas were women have do a dramatic change is literature. Womens literature has been or so accepted today. In the past, women were not so lucky. real fewer women started to break the barriers built by men. Susan Glaspell was one of these women who had to fight against all odds to prove that woman could also release profound pieces of literature, abouttimes even better than men. In Trifles, a hoyden written by Susan Glaspell, we can observe some customary problems in our society. The title Trifles is quite tricky, since it means more than what it appears at first. Perhaps trifles refer to the way the men in the horizontal surface treated, and considered the women, like for example: Sheriff - Well, can you cohere the women! They talked amid them selves using words that showed no importance to men, but were important and chthonicstood by women. Mrs. Peters - Its the bird. Mrs. Hale - (jumping up.)
